How is passport strength measured?

The passport rank combines the number of visa-free, visa-on-arrival, and eVisa countries. We rank 199 passports in existence, excluding territories such as the Cayman Islands. The country with the highest combined total holds the top rank.

Does holding a second passport affect my current passport?

In most cases, no. Acquiring a second citizenship does not automatically cancel your existing passport. However, some countries — including India, China, and Saudi Arabia — do not permit dual citizenship and may require renunciation of one nationality. We assess this for every client before recommending a programme.

Can I travel on either passport once I have two?

Yes. You travel on whichever passport gives you the best access to your destination. Many clients use their Caribbean passport for travel to the UK, EU, and Asia-Pacific, and their original passport for GCC travel. The practical flexibility is immediate.

Which investment passport gives the most access?

Malta gives the most — rank 8 globally with 176 total destinations (122 visa-free). Portugal follows at rank 3 with 181 total. Among the fastest programmes, St. Kitts & Nevis is rank 16 with 166 total destinations and a 45–60 day processing time.

What is the difference between visa-free and visa-on-arrival?

Visa-free means you can enter a country with no prior visa application. Visa-on-arrival means you receive a visa stamp or permit when you arrive at the border — typically a simple process with no advance application. eVisa requires an online application before travel but is usually approved quickly. All three categories represent accessible travel without embassy appointments.
